COVID-19 Policy


To comply with public health best practices during the COVID-19 outbreak and aftermath, USC Hotel respectfully asks that all hotels guests acknowledge and agree that you, the occupants of your guestroom(s) and any of your invited visitor(s) to our property (collectively, the “Guests”) are fully aware of the symptoms of COVID-19 and confirm and agree that none of the guests will check-in or stay at USC Hotel if, within 14 days prior to your stay and during your stay, any Guest(s) has or is experiencing any such symptoms or has reason to believe that such Guest(s) have been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days or your stay. Additionally, you fully understand that USC Hotel cannot guarantee that its properties (or its employees) are free of the COVID-19 virus.

USC Hotel asks that our valued Guests and visitors follow all recommended CDC guidelines relating to COVID-19. All Guests are required to wear face coverings while in public areas, maintain a minimum of six feet from others not in their party, limit elevator capacity to households only, and comply with the health and safety procedures implemented on property. In connection with your stay at USC Hotel, we request acknowledgement and consent to the following terms:

Guests fully understand that COVID-19 is highly contagious, and that although USC Hotel is taking reasonable efforts to mitigate contamination risks, all risk of exposure cannot be fully eliminated. As such, the Guests are assuming the inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 by visiting and/or staying at our property. In consideration of the use of the guestroom and related facilities and services, the Guests waive and release the property owner, property manager and each of their respective affiliates and employees from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, actions or costs directly or indirectly arising from or in connection with potential or actual exposure to COVID-19 at our property and facilities, including, but not limited to, any illness, injury, loss of work, loss of wages, trauma, emotional distress, medical expenses or death suffered in connection therewith. Guests acknowledge, on their behalf and on the behalf of the other Guests, that they have informed all Guests of these terms, that the Guests fully understand the conditions set forth above, and that each of the Guests fully accepts all associated risk.

Hotel Policies

Cancellation Policy:
Reservations must be cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival, unless otherwise specified, to avoid a penalty of one night's room and tax.

Guarantee & Deposit Policy:
All reservations require a credit card at time of booking. Advance purchase reservations require a credit card deposit equaling the total night's room and tax of stay due at time of booking.

Terms & Conditions

Incidentals Policy:
A valid credit card authorized to cover additional room and tax, plus $50 a night for incidentals must be presented upon check-in.

Smoke-Free Policy:
USC Hotel is 100% smoke free in all guest rooms and public areas. Smoking will result in a $250 charge.

Check-In Policy:
Guest must provide a valid government issued identification and must be at least 18 years of age for check-in. For exceptions to this policy, please contact our reservations team at 213-748-4141 or email us at

Check-In/Check-Out Time:
Check-In time is 3:00pm and Check-Out time is 12:00noon.

Complimentary wireless internet access is available for all hotel guests.

Self-parking is available for $25 a night with in and out privileges.
