USC History
In 1880, Los Angeles was a frontier town with no electric lights and no telephones. Just four years later, the University of Southern California graduated its first class of three students.

USC is world famous for its athletic program, with both men's and women's teams regularly earning top honors. USC Trojans have won 125 team national championships and have competed in the Olympics since 1904, earning hundreds of medals.
